Another planet

Day started with a flat tire and Ian being bucked off by his bike after the first 50 m. Mist and wind in the morning when cycling to the Standing Stones of Stennes, the Ring of Brodgar and to Skara Brae. A herd of nutters were hanging around with the Standing Stones, taking up personal relationships with single stones, holding pink stone skulls to them to take up the energy or just humming in a strange way.
A thought came into my head: Maybe the Orcadians really came from another planet far far away (Like the Vulcans and Klingons???)
Cycled to Stromness and after a long climb against the wind the sun came out! Hanging around in the sun for ages.

Puffins, beer and rays of light, what else do you need for a smile on your face?

P.S.: This was not the best picture of the day, but it started a whole series of: Puffin hangs around in the harbour, Puffin on the ferry, Puffin drinks a coffee, Puffin goes to bed etc.....................
