Blue Waters

I decided to get out with my new driver's license in tow for a walk around Sahuarita Lake. This is where the ducks play.

The water is as blue as any water I have ever seen.

I like this shot particularly because the rock looks like it's char-grilled.

Those are actually shadows that fell upon it. I looked at my camera for a few moments and the shadows were gone, so this was the only shot I got with them on it.

The lake is man-made and is stocked with trout, catfish, largemouth bass, sunfish and white amur (grass carp). Urban fishing licenses are required and there are daily catch limitations per species.

It's a relaxing, quiet place to go. It was perfect for me today.
