Ele and Cooper

Dick, their "Dad", is helping Ele pay attention to the camera. These Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers are out for their morning walk. Ele, at age 4 months, is Cooper"s younger half-sister. Wheatens are bred to have soft, silky fur and they do not shed. The name comes from the color of wheat.

I met several people out walking their dogs this morning. Three small black dachunds met me at one of the corners. It was exlained to me that there are different size sub-species, Large, Small, and Tweeners. That trio was "Tweener Weiners" <groan>.
