Sheep at Lumb Falls, Hebden Bridge

On the way down to Lumb Falls I came across these sheep who were very interested in whether we might have some food for them and came galloping over. They make a weird growling, grunting sound, too which is rather disconcerting. The picture reminds me of a Joseph Farquharson painting which I used to love when I was a child.
