The royal mile

Walking up the royal mile to meet some friends, saw these police horses ambling down the way (the one on the right was a shire, and i'm sure was about 18 hands, it was massive!) this photo doesn't really reflect it, but the sun was out today and it was rather lovely (but very very cold!)
