Night Nurses

Just back from our unexpected overnight stay at Hospital with Tess after a week of illness and uncertainty. What a worry kids are and oh, when they have to endure invasive tests and procedures, it's almost too much to bear. But what a wonderful team of nurses we had overnight at Aberdeen Children's Hospital; endless patience, care and sense of humour for both Tess and her parents, and an achievement certificate for Tess for being good too.

This is Tess, back at home looking peaky but much improved, with her Auntie Cheryl aka CBeebies "Jess the Cat" aka, Postman Pat's black and white furball. "Jess" arrived to visit Tess straight from attending a fundraising fancydress party for the Archie Foundation, organised by the brave parents of a little girl recently diagnosed with an illness sadly now beyond the help of the wonderful nurses we met last night.

As for Tess, Thanks for all good wishes folks, we are lucky to know she'll be back to her old cheeky self soon enough.
