I think the sky here says it all about how cold it was in Winchester this morning!
While I was waiting for the jeweller to put a new battery in my watch I suddenly spotted this juxtaposition of the gent with no clothes flying his kite and the large pot of tea he'll surely need to keep himself warm!
Said kiteman is actually an artwork spanning the upper storey of buildings in Parchment St, while the pot of tea is the sign for a teashop this side of St George's St.
The kite is meant to be gold, but I have a feeling most of the gold colour on the teapot is cream paint and rust.
Home and feeling warmer and my watch is working - hooray! Now for my own cup of tea..
