Heatwave!

Had the grandchildren most of today whilst their parents try to get the house ready for the new arrival whenever he or she decides to make an entrance!
We had such a fun time, starting off in the park, had a picnic and then went down to the beach. I can't remember when or even if I've ever sat on our local beach, but today it was glorious. The children built sand castles, we paddled in the warm water and it was just like being on holiday!! Loved every minute of it.............all because of the heatwave we're experiencing. Hope it lasts!!
