Whoooooooooooosh!

I was on the way back from Carnoustie's main beach today when I was stopped at the level crossing. The gates were down and the lights flashing. I knew that a northbound train had just been through a few minutes before, so I thought I might just catch a southbound one coming from the right and into my view. So I lowered the car window and grabbed this shot, timing it on the sound of the approaching train and pressing the shutter release when I glanced the train appear in my peripheral vision. Gotcha !
