Cake!!!!

Tonight I went to a gathering to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday. Her actual birthday was at the beginning of December but she was whisked away to Bruge on a surprise trip so couldn't share it with others then.

It was very low key as parties go but there was lots of chatter and laughter. Most of us knew each other anyway so it was a chance to catch up.

It was a good job that there was a good selection of sandwiches and cake as I hadn't eaten much during the day.
