Stretching

The scene as I left work at 5pm this evening, still a hint of daylight in the sky. As they say in this part of the world "the days are fair stretching".

I love the intricacies of the naked branches of the trees against the background of a sunset. It's hard to believe that in just a few weeks, life will again begin to burst from them and block the view.
