A closer look at Sylarna

We pitched our tent with a fantastic view of the Sylarna mountains, where we could enjoy birds like the Long-tailed Skua.

Around 6 AM the tent was basking in the sun and we had to escape out in the somewhat cooler surrounding (around 26°C, no cooling wind and no shadow to find anywhere). I've never before experienced such hot weather in the Scandinavian Mountains.
