Train
Ch is back from her trip! She had a blast - I'm so glad. She brought back the sweetest CD of her class singing gospel music in Engish with little French accents ("I'm fri, fri, fri"). I'm going to keep it forever.
Her favourite things were the evening parties. One was 80s disco themed and the other was a very-un-PC-this-would-never-happen-in-Canada Casino-themed party. They gave the kids pretend money and then they hit the roulette tables. Ch managed to double her money over the course of the night. (What have we started??)
The kids visited the Chateau d'Angers and Ch told us all about the symbols on la croix de Saint-Maur. She was actually having a little trouble finding her words in English tonight... granted she's pretty tired, but besides the singing, she was talking in French 24/7, no breaks.
Th and I had good days. Th had fun with an experiment in bio for which they matched "chromozomes" (coloured wires) to make "babies". She had two healthy girls.
I got some work done and then went out to Marks and Spencer to get Indian food for dinner - it was delicious and worth the trek!
Early bedtimes tonight in this house.
