Nature day after day

View looking down Glen Lyon

This is the Birchwood Trail at Bridge of Balgie in what Sir Walter Scott called the 'longest, loneliest and loveliest' glen in Scotland. I'd never been here before but I have to say I agree with him. Although there is some cloud in the above shot the weather improved tremendously and we had no rain at all!

We had lunch at the Bridge of Balgie tearoom and then drove back down the glen to the main road and headed off to Killin. Listening to Braveheart in the car coming down the glen was great! You couldn't get any more Scottish if you tried! We had a wander round Killin and then came back to Aberfeldy for tea.

Tomorrow if the weather is nice we will be off up to Kinloch Rannoch and the surrounding area. Hope you've all had a nice day xxx
