Sculptor's hands
My dad will be 91 soon. He has always been artistic, drawing and painting, and should really have become a artist (at least that's what I think), but life and the 2nd World War intervened. He took up sculpture when he retired. Sadly, he's not able to do it anymore, but I have lot's of his sculptures and models around the house and they will no doubt appear in future blips!
I wanted to capture his hands holding a sculpture. This is him holding Lawrence of Arabia's head, sculpted from a block of soapstone. Unfortunately you can't see the actual sculpture, but this was the best shot as he wouldn't sit still!
PS. If I get around to doing my blipfolio I will put a portrait picture of him on there!
