From a distance: going home

What a day, I left Letchworth at 8.30 this morning, and M1/M6 via Milton Keynes (for fabric for my daughter) Ikea at Wednesbury, and Costco at Haydock, torrential rain, snow (settling) on the M6, a car upside down, poor visibility, road works and countless traffic jams, I'm finally (6.30) home!

Grabbed my shot of the day at Haydock overlooking the M6 - pi**ing down - dived out of the car and stood straight in a 4" deep puddle (oh poo!), but I like the feel of people going home on a Friday "from a distance".

After 10 hours driving, I'm off for a G&T!
