Still Water at Scatness
After a couple of days of wild water I thought it was good to return to still water today.
This is Garth's Loch - a small freshwater loch on the Scatness Peninsula at the southern end of Shetland. I've blipped Scatness before - and I'll certainly blip it again. On a still sunny day, I don't think there is a better place to be...
There are a few other pictures from this morning on Flickr.
Today is the fifth anniversary of my first visit to Shetland (back-blipped earlier today). I did attempt to repeat my picture of the day from then, but the light was wrong today.
