look - i'm growing up...

...yelled the poinsettia plant as i passed by

when i stopped to take a closer glance at it... indeed - the leaves appeared taller - the pink is more prominent now - brighter... and there are actually a few more leaves on some of the other bare branches as well...

the new life has spread on the plant - the joy is abundant... my oohing and aahing - and gentle talking to it - is paying off... these little moments are sometimes enough during the day to make me smile - busy as this day has been... and it's not over yet - still have more to do... but this ongoing growth without the usual demise has clearly made for...
