In my Liverpool home

As a Scouser living in Leicester I miss my home town.
There is just so much to do and see. I love the architecture of the beautiful Victorian buildings, the Albert Docks, not one but two cathedrals, catching a trip on the ferry to glimpse the iconic waterfront, strolling along the beach at Crosby..
My Mum has lent me this book on the history of Liverpool. It`s fascinating, tracing the start of the city from a settlement in 1173 right the way through to 2004 when it was awarded the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site as Mercantile Maritime City....
I`m going to have to get my own copy as Mum wants this back....
