A day of missed opportunities

So, first missed photo opportunity of the day was when the Fire Brigade were on-site at College with real, live firemen checking out that the 'incase of emergency break glass' incident wasn't actually a real fire.

Second missed photo opportunity was on the way to external meeting when I stopped at nearby distillery to take an emotive shot of steam rising from chimneys. Conversation at the barrier as follows:

Me: Hello, I'm just looking to take a photograph of the steam bellowing out of the chimneys.
Security Guard: Hmm, wait a minute until I ask Dave. Dave, is she allowed to take a photograph?
Pause whilst Dave answers.
Security Guard: No, Dave says no photographs allowed.

Third missed photo opportunity was for my inaugural contribution to Scotland the World Over when I saw a black cab adorned with Saltires whizzing by.
