Freezing cold, hail, wind and rain, roads closed, angry drivers, people parking inside the cones, spectators wandering into the "red" zone all made for an interesting "evolution" and we had two of these to lift in.

Despite the reams of "efl 'n' safety" paperwork, method statements, risk assessments et al it was a good plan well executed and as a consequence we now have new changing rooms on site ready to be connected up and commissioned.

It is remarkable how all the "goofers" disappeared once the weight went on the crane and reappeared at the end of each lift, obviously working on the principle of "if I cannot see it, it ain't happening".
