50 Cowries

For my sister's 50th, I have made her initial made from 50 wee cowries that I collected in the summer specially for this project.

It was fun to make and I think she will enjoy it, along with another couple of wee surprises - in the post today.

She is such a very special person. She is very loving and one of the kindest people I know. She comes over here for her visits with armfuls of unique gifts that we can't get here, and always wraps them so beautifully in tissue and special bags. Each has a hand made label and personal message - we all cry. I love it!!

My niece's gift is also in the post. Am back to check on the parentals tomorrow - but am hoping I may be able to see my wee niece for lunch before I leave on Sunday.

Am working on "validated self evaluation" tomorrow about partnership working. Looking forward to it!
