Australia Day

Mr C, Zoe and I went to Sydney for Australia Day, a visit to the Australian Museum to see the 2011 Wildlife Photographic Competition - amazing.

And then another exhibition - Aboriginal Art of the Tribes along the Canning Stock Track, an outback stock route in Western Australia. The route was opened just over 100 years ago, and what an extraordinary change these Aboriginals have seen in just a short time. Extraordinary, sad and shameful in places.

Out to a tapas dinner, then off to see Hugo and then to the airport to pick up Tom at 11.30. 2 hour drive home and here we are. It's 2am and time for bed.
