Pine cone and pound coin

This pine cone has been sitting on our windowsill for many years, I guess at least thirty...... to be honest I can no longer remember where we picked it up, I know my daughter picked up one in France on a camping trip and it is even bigger than this one! However, it has grown to be part of our house decoration and furniture and I would not like to be without it. Have to say the pound coin was put there by me for the picture. No pound coin would lie around in our house without claim!!!!

So anyway I thought I'd blip it, as the weather outside is dull and miserable. Hope yours is better.
