.......memories......

This is what's left of the Christmas goodies.......seems no one in this house likes fudge, toffee or strawberry lollies........although how the green triangle escaped I'll never know.

Strangely something else left over is a bowl of nuts in shell....Brazils and Hazels.We used to have to hide the nuts away until Xmas Eve otherwise they'd all be gone........this time there's loads left....still...as the Daughter pointed out when I mentioned them...."Yeah, well Chris doesn't live here anymore, does he?"

Busy, busy day at work today, five lessons, short break and lunch time, meeting at the end of the day....reports to complete.......but at least we got finished at 4.15....but only because we have a two and a half hour Parents Evening tomorrow. Passed hebs at break time and exchanged about 5 words....misssed her totally at lunch time...and after the meeting she managed to get out, top up her nicotine and be heading back in before I got back from picking up my supplies from my jacket in the lab!

Still we might get to meet up on Sunday for the Chinese New Year in Manchester....should be good...it's the year of the Dragon and Manchester is a Dragon City...plenty of blip opportunities.....and then we're coming back for 4.00 for a mid-winter BBQ for one of our friends 50th birthday party.
