"You go where your told now"

Its been a wee while since my last blip but on Saturday 21st Jan our indoor bowling club had one of our infrequent competitions - "The John Alexander Memorial Trophy. This took the form of a round robin with 8 teams of three playing. We started at 9.30am and finished at 4.30pm with 45mins for lunch - a lot of bowling. My team, of which I was skip were the last to play and I had the last bowl of the match, needing a tight draw to win. As usual I made a pigs ear of it and failed to score. Needing two points to get second place overall and win the Silver salver we only managed one point for a drawn game and lost out by one point. Not to worry - theres always next year. The pic shows my better half delivering one of her shots. I must say that I am really proud of her, as a woman who had no interest in any sport she has, over the last two years come on in leaps and bounds - Keep it up Love.
