King O' Men
So Swallows and Amazons was duly finished and now it's back to David Lammy MP's excellent book. That was a busy effing day; I think the smallest of drinks may be in order. 35ml to be precise; nothing too extravagant, maybe a Bunnahabhain 18 year old. It is the Bard's birthday after all. OK, and a small jug of haggis stovies. And just the one wee beer.
Mind you, I see Shame is on up at Cineworld at 8:15. It's only 100mins so I could be back down to the Diggers after about half ten for one for the road. Here's to Rabbie!
What though on hamely fare we dine,
Wear hoddin grey, an' a that;
Gie fools their silks, and knaves their wine;
A Man's a Man for a' that:
For a' that, and a' that,
Their tinsel show, an' a' that;
The honest man, tho' e'er sae poor,
Is king o' men for a' that.
