My Saab dealer is forced to close his doors after 44 years in business, I've been a customer since 1973. There are a couple of Saab/GM dealerships that will honor our warranty, but neither are convenient(one to the northwest and one on the Cape) as we only have one car. Shaw Saab was close and gave us a loaner(a brand new model) on the days we had servicing. We just had a major service and won't need an oil change till summer. There is a hope that the existing Saab dealership will be purchased by a Lexus dealer and they would service Saabs and hope to move those customers into Lexus. That could take 3-12 months to get underway depending on the renovations. If it happens, that would be perfect.

One piece of good news, the city of Trollhattan, Saab AB, and the Wallenberg Foundation have saved Saab's history , the Saab Museum. here I am in 2009 enjoying myself with the beautiful old cars.
