The Wednesday crowd

Only 20 of us today on our walk from Haltwhistle. It's a good number because you can speak to everyone by the time the walk is finished.

Our leader today was D, who can be seen at the extreme right of the image (with hat). He is a popular walk leader but infamous, notorious famous for wet walks. Today was no exception, with very wet moorland to traverse. D was the one who fell in..............thankfully no injuries and the day was very mild.

It was a lovely walk around Broomhouse Common from Haltwhistle and back again (by another route).

Wednesdays are always good fun.
