Burns Night

At The George and dragon we always look forward to a good reason to celebrate and today we have the scottish to thank!

One member of our team has Scottish relatives who helped her perfect her Haggis with taters and neeps! (see photo)

We offer a regular lunch menu which consistes of sandwiches, toasted paninis andBurns soups but we couldnt let Burns night pass without recognition so as an ode to this scottish holiday we offered our Haggis option as a special for one day only. It went down a treat at lunch!

Earlier in the week we celebrated the Chinese New Year with home made fortune cookies containing special offers for the winners and words of wisdom for the losers. You cant help but poke fun at someone whos fortune says 'Atleast you tried'!

Our team really enjoy getting behind any celebration and we always seem to be dressing up!

Our next day of celebration is actually tomorrow. Its Australia Day you see.
