Statue.

This character has been living with since my husband move in with me, around 11 years ago. He acquired it on a drumming trip to Ghana a few years before we met. I've never spent much time looking at it closely, but in need of a blip decided to photograph it's face. You can't see here but it has a bird on it's forehead, similar to a flamingo. I wonder what it represented to the sculptur?
