I made an effort today to get out of the house, even if it was only for half an hour, the car needed petrol and I'd decided to stop near this abandoned house at a rail crossing to try get a decent shot. Its tricky though as it stands apart from everything else other than the railway line and you obviously can't linger there for the danger and the fine you'll receive for doing so.

I'm guessing the house used to be in use by the rail network, probably a guard house, signal room or something but I have no proof of this other than the fact it sits right on the line.
