Introducing Meg

This is Meg, she completes our pack of four dogs!! The three others have all been blipped :-)

When our 14 year old Bassett Hound died of throat cancer my dad said "no more dogs!" About 48 hrs later mum and I were at our local rehoming shelter (Woodgreen). We looked at all of the dogs and the three legged JRT that we fell in love with had already been reserved. We were about to leave when a volunteer walked out with 4 bundles of fluff. That was it, Treacle (as she was named) became Meg and was ours!

The pups were dumped outside of the shelter the night before. All we needed was a good home visit and she could come home. The next day the shelter called; "the dogs have kennel cough, can you take Meg home today?" So mum and I rushed there and picked her up! She went back to have her jabs , microchip and to be spade and since then we've never looked back! We're not sure what Meg is, but 10 years on we love her more and more everyday (despite her stinky breath!!)

Ciao for now xx
