Tempting but early

The plan was a reasonable one. To get to Waverley to catch a train to London without leaving a bike in Edinburgh and a car at the airport for two days and without leaving a car stranded at Inverkeithing for two days. The solution - catch the early and only bus from the village to Inverkeithing and the train to Waverley. Never mind that that would mean arriving in Edinburgh two hours before the London train. It's a first class ticket and there's a first class lounge. Get some work done and then catch up with a wee snooze somewhere between York and Doncaster.
