Café Cléopâtre

This city block in what used to be Montreal's Red Light District is slated for redevelopment, and all of the neighbouring buildings have already been boarded up and are waiting for the wrecker's ball. This mildly seedy bar is delaying the whole project because the owner refuses to sell.

That's perhaps not a bad thing... the city is full of empty lots, often used as parking lots, where once houses stood that were pulled down to make way for new projects that were never built. I think I prefer this to yet another car park.
