New Life

These little daffodils were on sale in the supermarket today.

Spring bulbs are so attractive because they carry the promise of new life to come as the weather warms.

After the sad passing of my poinsettia, I shall console myself by watching these little green shoots bursting into bright colour over the next few weeks.

Hopefully they'll make it.
