While tidying up some loose papers today I came across this photocopy I was given a few years ago of an Old Parish Record from a village in Scotland in 1705 which I think is ever so pretty. It has got one of my ancestors on it BUT 3 or 4 years ago there was a couple of mice running around (thank you Apache!!) and they started to eat this sheet - grrr fortunately I noticed before the sheets were totally eaten - the mice were removed via a humane trap (I let them go outside by the pond). That was back in the days when Apache was gentle and brought mice in alive and dropped them so they ran around, nowadays he eats them - vile cat.
