School meeting

We were at Th's school tonight for a *long* meeting on applying to universities in the US and Canada. The most interesting thing (for me) was hearing the French perception of Canadian universities. Because Quebec offers the same tuition to French nationals as it does to in-province applicants, virtually the only schools discussed were in Quebec and, at that, the presentation was limited to schools in Montreal. I might have to write to the college counsellor with a little information about some other schools... I was trying to just be a parent tonight and not a prof (as requested by Th).

The reports from Ch's school trip on the website are fun to read but we aren't sure how accurate they are. Today's says that some kids are missing school (really?!) and that the food in the cafeteria is delicious. Humm.
