Shisha

Nothing spectacular today.
A dull, damp day and busy until late.
This hanging is now in my office at work but was in the hall at home for a long time. It is experimental shisha work - the original is from the Indian subcontinent. Small mirrors are stitched on to material and I used different stitches and shapes for the different part. The background material is a recycled cotton top (the blue) and edging an detail from a cotton skirt - both from India.
