Do you know, they don't let you take cameras into the O2 Academy? I hate band photography, there's nothing more dull than a rockstar, well actually there is, there's a picture of a rockstar performing.

Last night I was leaving Glasgow, in a car, on the motorway, texting only-slightly obscene messages and trying to take a photo that didn't feature a rockstar. It crossed my mind that a broken down tour bus might force me into the terrible outcome that I so feared, but by the grace of god the only metal I encountered blared from the stereo, and the rusty old rods i snapped sat silent with their street lighting illuminating their unreported breakdown.
