St Pancras Station
A very busy day today as we were managing an event in the village hall for the local council. It rained all day and I only had a very quick walk with the dog.
Watching Climbing Tall Buildings on BBC 4 was all about St Pancras station and hotel and the sheer brillance of the engineers who built it. I think in the whole of London this is my most favourite building. I have taken so many pictrures of it, stood outside and marvelled at the size and fabulous features and generally just admire it. It is in such contrast to the British Library next door. It too has its own character but to me St Pancras wins every time.
So, I feel no guilt that I have taken a picture from the TV this evening of the roof. Clearly a view I am never likely to see. This whole series has been good although sometimes the dialogue is a bit irritating.
