Bruce Millers No More

As my work is entirely focused on the Shire these days, I'm getting increasingly out of touch with the details of life in the City.

It was only last Wednesday that I learned that Bruce Millers Music Shop in Aberdeen's main Union Street had gone into administration around the middle of last year and had closed its doors for the last time following an auction sale of the remaining assets on August 19th.

I walked past the now-deserted store this morning. At least the famous clock is still there (for now, at least); my informant last week told me it's still chiming the hours and the soldiers still parade in a circle as if nothing untoward had happened to the business they were guarding down below...
