Old & New Usher Hall

A very dreary day in Edinburgh today, but at least there was no snow unlike in the village this morning. A very slow drive to work today.

I love how the design of the addition to the Usher Hall is completely contrasting to the original building but it compliments it beautifully. It felt like the whole building was hidden behind scaffolding for an eternity whilst this was being erected. The glass provided a little bit of sparkle and brightness during an otherwise dark and dreicht lunchtime.
