On the Ferry!

It's been a good day!

Brilliant sunshine, bright blue skies....and a 45 minute swim at the Inverary! Altho i was rather taken aback when i arrived to find 4 big folks and one little one in the water.....i'm sure there was a look of total disbelief on my face, but maybe they were short sighted and didn't see the astonished look on my face! i decided to swim anyway, and asked very nicely, if the would mind if i took up the space against the wall and did lengths....they were very agreeable....well hell, they had the rest of the damn pool! i reckon it made me swim faster and with less little breaks, cos every time i stopped i could hear the kid yelling etc...so it was much less irritating if i just kept my head under water!! actually, it wasn't as bad as i was expecting and the kid was kinda cute!!

Then home for lunch and a bit of this and that...which actually included a wee nap....and then we headed up the north shore, along the Cabot Trail, to a friends place for a delicious dinner, and good convervation. I missed some really dramatic sky once the sun finally set, because the ferry was delayed by about 15 minutes - they weren't sure it was actually going to go.....which meant we ended up at Jitka's place (she overlooks a very dramatic piece of the ocean and i knew it would be amazing) too late and the sky had lost all it's colour! oh well....another time i guess!
