Town crier

Back to work today and around downtown surveying the damage over lunch. One street was still closed from downed trees, and a huge section of tree was hanging on the telephone wires by the post office. Happened on Friday, still there today. It was weighing the lines down to the point that the pole across the street was bending over. Elsewhere, vegetation crews were out with chain saws, the result being several Charlie Brown looking trees in the downtown core.

On my way back this guy was sitting on one corner of a 4 way stop sending out series of 3 caw-caw-caws, even after I walked under him. Didn't even phase him when I pulled out the camera. I liked the shot as you could see more storm damage under his feet.

After all that mess, a couple of nice days this week. Yay!
