Changeable Skies....

Well, not wanting to talk about weather again, I find it the topic of the day! Since I have folks commenting from Oregon here, I gotta tell you...I think your weather has migrated east to New York State!

Last night, the wind carried on all night long. I awakened several times, hearing branches hitting the side of the house as the wind laughed and continued on its merry way.

I figured a front was closing in and soon the wind would stop, but it just didn't. It blew all day, burnishing the snow and leaving a glistening finish upon it. As the day went on, the temperature rose, and rain would suddenly fall from time to time. The sun would streak through the clouds, then disappear once again.

We went out for a drive this afternoon, and that is when I randomly snapped the picture of the ornery, miserable sky!
