Monkey - Journey to the West

Terrible photo I know but thought it a good thing to use Blip as a journal properly for once!

Took Eldest and Youngest to see the above Damon Albarn/Jamie Hewlett thing at the Opera House today on a whim after seeing the Alan Yentob programme on the box the other night (I always was an easy touch!).

'Kin brilliant, great seats right at the side of the stage, mesmeric wirework and fabulous costumes. Even the 16 year old enjoyed it!

This is the curtain call, it was much more interesting than it looks!

Got to be a good start to te summer hols.
