Alloa Borealis
Two and a half (and a bit) years into this blipfoto lark and it's good to know there's still times when the whole thing can throw you a proper wobbly. That was a proper blast that was, never had that many views in a single 24 period, and probably never will again. Even made it on to the mythical and elusive Spotlight page for a bit (the ritual chicken sacrifice at noon seemed to help). Probably never will again, but it's nice to know that blip can still surprise.
Hopefully those people that might have been inspired by all the Aurora blips last night and headed out into the cold night to try and capture them are home and thawing out now; it looks like they might not have been switched on tonight. Tomorrow though, that may be another story - there's a storm coming...
Downtown Alloa looked good in the sunshine today, which was lucky 'cause I didn't wander any further than this. Had enough of standing around in the cold for now.
Cheers all!
