Pool of colour

Yesterday was spent doing Tax returns. Very boring I'm afraid - the thing is it took so long to get up enough enthusiasm to start, I didn't dare stop. So no blip!!!

Today I went back in to Old Street. I really like it around there, there are lots of trendy bars, clubs, cafe's as well as fashion/designer outlets, photographic studios, architects practises etc.

It is really buzzing. Yet it is so close to some very large, run down, deprived areas. In a way these areas add a certain energy to the place.

There are also some large patches of grafiti which brighten up what is otherwise a pretty drab concrete jungle. I like this sort of community spirited self help. Looks better big
