Catch me if you can...
This is a very giddy child in the bath. I will put down the 'Be Funky' app soon, I promise ;-)
I know I should be able to do this stuff with photoshop but I just can't seem to get it to work properly <hangs head in shame> My usual processing protocol is to download the photo via canon utility into zoom browser, click edit with external software and send to photoshop. Mess about with it for 10 minutes or so and maybe succeed in a minor crop, then going back to zoom browser to send it via photosync to my phone. Of course then I have to send it back to the computer to upload it to blip, if I want to have the choice of thumbnail etc Aaaargh, I'm hopeless.
Oh well, in other news I baked a practice cake for no.1 son's birthday <hangs head even lower in shame> Apparently I can't bake cakes anymore. I fudged with the recipe and did lots of little tweaks that I thought would be helpful but still flat as a pancake :-(
By flat, I mean, flat: for reference you may wish to see No.2 son's cake from earlier this month
No.1 son said (accusingly)," What did you put in the middle?"
"Raspberry Jam" was my tentative reply.
"It's my birthday and I should have what I like in my cake."
"Yes of course." I'm not one for pandering, but this seemed a reasonable request "So what would you like as your cake filling?"
"Marmite", came the obvious reply....
PS He also had the cheek to ask if a frog I had drawn was a flying bat, or sutin*
*Am I the only one who is turned into a giggling teenager by the simple word 'something' courtesy of Adam Buxton on Never Mind the Buzzcocks last year?? Probably best not to answer that. Don't get me started on counting the Mobys....
<hee hee hee...>
